When Will the Military Use the New Nike Basketball Boots?

  • August 18, 2021

Breitbart News has learned that the military is going to begin using new Nike basketball shoes this summer.

The military has not yet disclosed which brands will be involved in the program.

According to a military press release, “Nike will begin manufacturing the Nike Basketball Shoes and accessories for the Army and Marine Corps beginning August 12, 2017.”

The military has used Nike Basketball shoes since at least the 1990s, but the brand has never made the footwear for the U.S. military.

However, Nike has been working on shoes for the military since at the very beginning of the Iraq War.

In April 2017, Nike announced a partnership with the Army to produce new Nike Basketball Basketball Shoes, as part of a wider effort to increase the production of military footwear.

In addition to the new Nike shoes, the military also plans to purchase additional Nike Basketball shoe models.

The Air Force has previously purchased two new Nike Air Jordan shoes, and the Marine Corps is planning to buy two new Air Jordan 10 models, including one of the “Nikes” for use on the infantry.

The new shoes will be used for both active and reserve units, and will be available in various colors.

A press release from the military said that “Nole” will be offered in three colors: “Blue, Orange, and Green.”

According to the press release and images from a recent Nike press event, the new Air Jordans will be made of a lightweight, lightweight cotton material.
