How to build a simple, lightweight, easy-to-use WiFi router
- October 7, 2021
We’ve all been to a coffee shop with a wifi router.
They’re small, sleek, and simple to use, but the router can only connect to your home network and the internet when you connect it to your mobile network.
Now that the wifi network is up and running, it’s time to make it even simpler.
We’ll walk you through the steps to build your own router, and how you can take advantage of its many built-in features.
If you’ve been searching for a router that is easy to build, easy to use and lightweight, we’ve found it!
We’ve built a simple and lightweight WiFi router for our family that can be easily adapted to meet your needs.
You can build your very own router to meet all your needs and have it delivered right to your door.
This is not just a router, it is a complete system with a fully-functional internet connection, a Wi-Fi router, Ethernet, 3G, 3GS and USB ports, all running on a single board.
This small router can connect to a single 802.11ac wifi network, and it can connect through a dedicated network (e.g. a public Wi-FI hotspot) or over a dedicated LAN to a local or remote network.
In other words, it has all the bells and whistles you’d expect to find in a router: a simple design, a simple interface, a single-purpose Ethernet port and a dedicated WiFi antenna for added power.
We’ve taken our router and built it from the ground up to fit the needs of our family, with features like: an internal USB port for charging the router, USB ports for charging your computer, WiFi antennas for the router and a power supply to keep things running at peak performance.
All this means you can get this router in your own home quickly and easily, even if you live in a smaller area or are on a budget.
How to build the router We started with a simple concept: what if you wanted to build something that would fit your needs, and fit within your budget?
You could make a cheap router, which is great for anyone who doesn’t need a huge amount of space or a lot of resources, but there’s a better option if you need something bigger and better.
That’s where we’ve built the router.
