“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” stars discuss new season of the TV series, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”
Star Trek: The Next Generation star Robert Picardo has shared some details about the upcoming fifth season of Star Trek’s classic sci-fi series, with a new episode set to air in the fall.
Speaking with MTV News, the actor recalled his experience filming the season, and the special effects he had to work with to make it look like the classic Star Trek series.
“It was really fun,” Picardo told MTV News.
“I was the only person in the whole series, and we were all the only people.
I had to do the makeup and all the special effect work.
“When we were in costume and in costume makeup, we were doing things like: the makeup for the Klingon mask, I was doing the Klingon makeup, and then I did my makeup, just because I was like, ‘I want to do my makeup.'” “
Picardo, who has worked with the franchise since his first appearance on “Star Search,” added that he had a lot of fun working on “The Next Generation.” “

Picardo, who has worked with the franchise since his first appearance on “Star Search,” added that he had a lot of fun working on “The Next Generation.”
“I think the hardest thing to do on Star Trek is the costumes,” he said.
“There was a lot more work to be done on the costumes.
The costume designers, the costume designers for ‘The Next Frontier’ had been working on the uniforms, and for ‘Deep Space Nine,’ I was on the makeup.
I remember having a great time doing that.”
He continued, “The hardest part of filming that season was the makeup, because we were so far away from the set.
We would walk on set, and there were people walking past us on the way, and I think we would have to be so far back, and you’d have to walk back to get to us, so we had to be careful.”
Picardo’s other new role on the series, which premieres Friday on CBS All Access, will be playing a character who is the first of many characters to appear in the new season.
He said he was also asked to play a character in the show who was a fan of “Star-Trek.”
“When you hear the word ‘fan,’ you usually think of somebody who’s really excited to see a show and wants to be part of it,” Picard said.
Picardo added that the character was actually a fan character.
“You know, ‘Star Trek’ is a family show, so it’s a family of characters,” he told MTV.
“They all have their own personalities.
You know, they’re all different and I played one of them.
I didn’t do the Klingon [character].
And then the fans loved that.”
